Current Research Activities
I have been trying to identify factors that prohibit or enhance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. I have been trying to identify what strategies underrepresented minorities could use to reduce a potential bias against them.
Research Connections to Current Events
Immigrants face considerable disadvantages in the workplace, mainly because they speak English with an accent. I examine what strategy they could use to reduce a potential bias against them. The identification of such strategy could lead to less bias against them.
Personal Connections to Research
Because I am an immigrant myself, it is important to understand how organizations and immigrants could work together to benefit each other.
